Trump To Meet Kim In Vietnam Summit
US President Donald Trump will meet with Kim Jong-Un for the second time in 2 weeks in international summit
US President Donald Trump is to meet North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un for a second summit by the end of February, the White House says.
White House press secretary made the announcement on Twitter this morning:
President Donald Trump is looking forward to a second summit with Kim Jong-Un, which will take place toward the end of January. The location will be confirmed at a later date - Sarah Huckabee Sanders - White House Press Secretary
Media speculation names Vietnam as the most likely location for the Summit.
The news comes just days since Trump reportedly received a hand-written letter from Kim, hand delivered by North Korean operative Kim Yong-chol. It is not clear what the reported letter from Kim Jong-un contained.
But it was expected to lay the groundwork for the second summit.
President Trump claimed that "not much was formalized" in the last Summit in Singapore. A second Summit hopes for further talks between the world leaders to finalize nuclear negotiations.
